Information the app processes

Human Turn is provided by Fortyone Agency LLC. It reads development activity from the services you connect to show when your attention is needed. This can include pull request titles and descriptions, review and CI status, coding-agent activity, repository names, and account identifiers. These details are processed locally on your Mac; connecting a service still involves exchanging information with that service.

Connected services

Human Turn runs locally on your Mac. Credentials are stored in Keychain and sent only to the services you connect, never to Human Turn servers. The app reads your development activity and does not merge pull requests or modify repositories.

Track pull requests across GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket Cloud, and Cursor Origin. Follow coding-agent work from Cursor Cloud Agents and GitHub Copilot alongside the pull requests it affects.

Data stored on your Mac

Human Turn stores credentials in macOS Keychain. It also remembers the revision you last opened and your notification, snooze, mute, and ignore choices so it can keep track of your work. These features use local state on your Mac. Removing the app does not necessarily remove credentials from Keychain; you can revoke access through the connected service and manage saved credentials on your Mac.

On-device summaries

Human Turn remembers the revision you last opened and reports whether new commits arrived. On compatible Macs, optional change summaries use Apple Intelligence on device. No code, patches, repository names, account identities, or credentials are sent to a summary server.

Human Turn requires macOS 14 or later. Apple Intelligence change summaries require macOS 26 or later, an eligible Mac, and Apple Intelligence enabled with its model downloaded.

Your repositories

Copy a ready-made /review command for a pull request and paste it into the coding agent you already use. Human Turn does not launch tools, change your code, or require an agent preference.

Permissions and your choices

You choose which services to connect. You can control notifications in the app and in macOS System Settings, mute individual repositories, and pause or ignore tracked items. Change summaries are optional. To stop a service from granting the app access, revoke the relevant authorization or token in that service's account settings. Revoking access does not delete information held by the service itself.

Apple and connected services

Downloading Human Turn through the Mac App Store is subject to Apple's terms and privacy policy. GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket Cloud, Cursor Origin, and coding-agent services handle information under their own policies when you connect to or open them. This policy describes Human Turn, not those providers' independent data practices.

This website

This website does not use analytics, advertising cookies, or third-party fonts. Your browser contacts the website host to load these pages and images. Following a Mac App Store link opens an Apple service, which has its own privacy policy.

This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. Delivering its pages and images involves your browser sending technical information, such as your IP address and request details, to the hosting provider. GitHub's handling of that information is covered by its privacy statement.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as Human Turn or its data handling changes. The effective date above identifies the latest policy revision; it does not change automatically each year.
